Founded by two film and image lovers - the award-winning creative director Michael Haas and digital artist Kathrin Hawelka. We share decades of experience between us and are involved with the most cutting-edge media and technology, which allows us to create digital content used across all media platforms. We are experienced makers, striving to define the future of media through innovative design and inventive technologies.

“I love digital image creation and experimenting with new technologies. During my time in London I supported Saddington Baynes for 8 years as one of their Lead CGI Artists. I came across all sorts of technical and creative queries - and I absolutely loved working on every single one of it. Moving back to Germany I teamed up with my partner to finally realise our dream – setting up a CGI Studio. At Labgeist I am responsible for the creation of high-end 3D still images and digital illustration. "

"With my design degree and several awards for 3D animated films in the bag, I moved to London in 2012. At first I worked as a freelancer with several big studios. Then, for 7 years, I joined "INK" and supported them as a Director and Animator. In 2019 I moved back to Germany and worked for "hl-studios", a communication agency near Nuremberg, as Creative Director. With my partner, we set up "Labgeist". My part is storytelling, 3D animation and moving images."
